Renmar, a family-run business supplying machinery and ancillaries to the UK plastic processing industry, has announced that it has entered an exclusive partnership with Maxi Melt, a market leading designer and manufacturer of plasticising components in the Netherlands for the extrusion and injection moulding sectors.
For over 30 years, Maxi Melt has manufactured and refurbished screw extruders and barrels for all types of plastics processing machinery. The company works with nearly all machine manufacturers and is familiar with the various different models of screws and barrels. Moreover, it has the experience and knowhow to develop abrasion and corrosion resistant solutions that improve process quality, while cutting cycle times and manufacturing costs.
The range of products extends from bimetallic and nitrided barrels, screws in various steels and new profile designs to optimise the plasticising process, to thermoset screws with internal cooling channels and solutions for single and twin-screw extruders, and more.
